Thank you for visiting the ShopCore Properties (sometimes referred to as “ShopCore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website located at http://www.ShopCore.com/ (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy details how we treat personal information collected from visitors to our Site and users of our mobile application, portals, and other platforms where this Policy resides (collectively, our “Services”). Note that this Privacy Policy does not cover the job application website at https://www.shopcore.com/our-people/. The Site and Services are intended for business-to-business transactions only, and, with the exception of certain sections of the Site where we may require you to submit limited personal information or invite you to submit personal information (e.g., to access the careers page), we do not knowingly collect the personal information of individual consumers. By using our Site and Services or otherwise providing any information to ShopCore, you are acknowledging that you are a representative or agent of a business and not an individual consumer.

1. Personal Information We Collect

We may collect personal information when you visit our Site or use our Services. For example, we may collect name and business contact information (such as your email address, address, and phone number) when you provide it to us through registration, completion of forms, when you contact us, when you submit inquiries or requests about properties and leasing opportunities, and similar situations in which you have chosen to provide the information to us.

We may also automatically collect information from you when you visit our Site or use our Services. For example, we may collect information about your device, browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifier.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use information to contact you and respond to you. We use your information to respond to your questions and requests. This includes questions about our properties or your relationship with us. We also use your information to otherwise communicate with you, including about our Services that you have used or that may be of interest to you and notices about events.

3. Tenant Information

Tenants may submit a Work Order to us via the ShopCore Properties App. Tenants may also submit sales information to us, pay rent, or get financial statements via the ShopCore 360/Versapay Tenant Portal. ShopCore may use this information to contact tenants should we have questions regarding the information that is submitted under the terms of the tenant’s lease.

4. Aggregate and Non-Personal Information

Information that does not identify an individual or cannot otherwise be reasonably linked or connected with them is not considered personal information. Personal Information may be aggregated or de-identified to become non-personal information. We may collect and use such non-personal information, such as search queries, zip codes, area codes, and customer activity on our Site, for any purposes, including to operate, analyze, and improve our Site.
The Site may track the total number of visitors to our Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, browser type, IP addresses, external websites linked to, and other aggregated data collected through our Services, and we may analyze this data for trends and statistics in the aggregate, but such information will be maintained, used, and disclosed in aggregate form only. We may use this information to analyze trends, administer the Site, track users’ movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information and the data generated by cookies and third-party analytics tools with the trusted vendors, service providers, and contractors that we may engage to assist us in providing our Services to you if disclosing such information is necessary to fulfill your request or to provide services to you. We may also provide such third parties with aggregated, non-personal information.

We will disclose your personal information if we reasonably believe we are required to do so by law, regulation, or other government authority, or to assist in any investigation to protect our rights or to enforce our terms of use. We will share information to respond to a court order or subpoena. We will also share information as part of other legal proceedings, such as in connection with pending litigation.

We may transfer your personal information to a successor entity upon a merger, consolidation, or other corporate reorganization in which ShopCore participates or to a purchaser of all or substantially all of ShopCore’s assets to which this Site relates.

We may disclose information with your consent or at your direction and for other reasons we may describe to you. We may also disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

6. Data Retention

We will retain your information only for as long as is necessary to carry out the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including to meet our legal, regulatory, or other compliance obligations.

7. Children’s Privacy

Neither our Site nor our Services are intended for use by children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children under the age of 18. If we discover that we have received information directly from a child under the age of 18, we will delete that information. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe we have collected information directly from your child, you may request that such information be deleted by using the contact information identified in the “Questions” section below.

8. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

We allow others to provide analytics services and serve advertisements on our behalf across the web. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Site and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in mobile apps, links clicked, and conversion information. This information may be used by us and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests on our Site and other websites, and better understand your online activity.

While most browsers are automatically set up to accept cookies, you can adjust your browser settings to reject cookies or to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent. Cookies are typically browser-specific. If you use different browsers, you will have to define your preferences on each browser. You can delete all or some of these cookies from your computer by activating the “delete cookies” feature in your browser. We also work with third parties to serve ads to you as part of customized campaigns on third-party platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram). As part of these ad campaigns, we or the third-party platforms may convert information about you, such as your email address and phone number, into a unique value that can be matched with a user account on these platforms to allow us to learn about your interests and serve you advertising that is customized to your interests. Note that the third-party platforms may offer you choices about whether you see these types of customized ads.

Do Not Track Policy. Certain web browsers may provide an option by which you may request your browser to inform websites you visit that you do not wish your activities to be tracked by cookies or other persistent identifiers, commonly called “Do Not Track Signals.” Our website currently does not respond to Do Not Track Signals. If you block cookies, certain features on our website may not work. If you block or reject cookies, not all of the tracking described here will stop.

10. Your Choices

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from ShopCore by following the instructions in those communications. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about our ongoing business relations.

The California Privacy Rights Act or “CPRA” (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.) affords consumers residing in California certain rights with respect to their personal information. If you are a California resident, this section applies to you.

We also describe the third parties who received or may receive the personal information and the business or commercial purpose for the sale or sharing. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under the age of 16, and have not done so in the prior 12 months.

This includes us not (a) denying you goods or services, (b) charging you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties, (c) providing you a different level or quality of goods or services, (d) suggesting to you that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services, and (e) retaliating against you for exercising your privacy rights.

In some instances, we will need to verify your identity before honoring your privacy rights request. We will verify your identity by asking you to provide personal information related to your recent interactions with us, such as your name. We will honor your privacy rights request within 45 calendar days of receipt, unless we request an extension as permitted by data privacy laws.

You may exercise your privacy rights through an authorized agent. If we receive your request from an authorized agent, we may ask for evidence that you have provided such agent with a power of attorney or that the agent otherwise has valid written authority to submit requests to exercise rights on your behalf. ShopCore may need to update this Policy from time to time. If so, we will post the updated Policy on our Site. If the changes being made are material, we may send registered users of our Site a notice that this Policy has been changed.
